"We had the weirdest experience at this motel. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk seemed utterly confused that we wanted to check in from an online booking. The first room she gave us had a smoke detector with a low battery, so it loudly beeped every minute. After we asked for either a new battery or a new room, she seemed mildly annoyed that we were complaining. The new room she gave us had no smoke detector at all (we found it detached and hidden in a drawer), smelled funky, and had weird stains on the sheets. The best I can describe it as is “crusty.” We definitely were not the target audience for this motel and would not recommend it. Stay at Motel 6 across the street instead. Extra star because it was cheap."
