「Dirty walls, lousy patch and paint jobs all over the walls. Holes where light fixtures once were. Cockroaches spotted in the room and worst one was finding a dead in in the microwave. 「The carpet was old, stained & brown. I kept my shoes on the whole time. The headboard & interior of door was stained. Road noise comes right through the window unit a/c that was screwed into the plywood back wall. Musty smell. Bathroom was clean & recaulked. Mattress was fine, linens old. Coffee only/sign said no breakfast as of 1-1-26. Pool “closed for season” on Memorial Day weekend. Friendly staff.」

「The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it.
However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids.
