Close to historical places is plus. Overall it was quiet. The attendant ( lady) who performed the check in was not friendly or professional. In the other hand the male guest was very friendly professional and polite. Strong smell of Clorox on bedding and towels. The texture of the towels was hard they need to purchased new ones. Room needed a little sweeps and bathroom is really small.

This was not the experience we thought we’d have, given the reviews from Expedia. Our family trip to Busch Gardens didn’t start off the best…. The rooms were not cleaned. We had two. One had live cockroaches the other, dead one. There were items from previous guests that were left behind due to POOR CLEANING. The rooms smelled like mildew and cigarette. The cleaners didn’t even remove the plastic cover from the smoke detectors from the previous guests. The only bright side was the extremely friendly staff when we checked in, the firm beds, soft sheets, and pillows. The couple cleaning were rude and mean. Not a hello or smile. Just dirty looks. Which is absolutely uncalled for.

I appreciated the staff who were helpful and accommodating. However the soap dispensers were difficult to use, especially the shower gel and we had to go to the office for toilet paper.
