"Shady area BUT outstanding room!
Service.. hm, not sure!
Room is perfect & has tub with hotspring running water which is excellent!!! 💯
However, will NOT stay here again cuz too far from downtown area - 湯圍溝公園! (15 mins walk!)"
"Breakfast was in a separate building from the hotel which wasn’t great. Limited breakfast options. Hotel exterior was a little old and dirty, and to check into the hotel it would also be in a separate block which was confusing at first. Felt a lot more like a hostel but it’s acceptable for its price. "
"Very good location, 3 minutes walk from train station and 8 minutes walk from bus terminal. Over 20 restaurants within 5 minutes walk, many extremely good restaurants, such as the one ranked as the 21st best restaurant (noodle) in Taiwan. One dumpling restaurant within 20 feet away from the above noodle restaurant is a must eat.
The hotel is clean with hot spring inside the room. "
"It is inconvenient location and too far from restaurant No transportation buses.
$300 - $320 taxi / each way to find good restaurants
and hot springs located "
"It's a comfortable place to relax. Wi-Fi is a bit weak at the beginning, but the owner beefed it up to become very strong. Although a small table set up is not ideal to use, but it can be easily moved to wherever you want it to be. I became fully enjoyable staying there later on."

"The hotel was nice and clean, pretty nice overall. They had free bottled water in the halls, which was really nice. The only thing that bothered us was the hard mattress, but we still slept just fine. The breakfast buffet is pricey, but it was a fun cultural experience! The location was really nice for public transit as well. "
"The service was top notch. All the citizens employees spoke English very well. The room was clean with a nice view of the river. Ximending was a 5 min walk. MRT is a 3-4 minute walk either way. I found most of the meals better than the street food. Taipei City under ground Mall is about a 5 minute walk connected to the MRT main station. I found the food there better than the night market. Breakfast at Citizen M had a variety of western and Asian dishes. I highly recommend this hotel, but I do have some cons about it. If you stay in the higher floors, there’s some random noise that kinda sound like a dog barking every 15-20 mins and it sounds like a person placing a cup down on a counter. The elevator system are not sinked so everyone presses all of the button so when your on the elevator it stops frequently. Other than that it’s an awesome place to stay. "
"The stay is great, hospitality services, location transport and food options are good, with washing machine & dryer options too. A little downside i observed is the remote controller sensitivity to the tv, and the towels water absorbent is not as good. Still a great stay nonetheless. Cheers."
"The hotel is really on the high end and we enjoyed our stay there. It is convenient as as such travelling by bus or train was excellent. The hotel dining staff are so helpful, they tried their best to accommodate our needs even with their english & our mandarin language difficulty.
We will definitely come back. "
"Clean room and offer a lot of amenity. The staff was professional and great service. Any room requests were promptly delivered. Overall, our experience was great and will stay at this hotel again if we happen to visit Taiwan in the future. "
