「Lovely little place in a really peaceful setting. It's also great to see a company embrace sustainability as well. However, this is also their downfall as well! Unfortunately we were booked in during the hottest weekend of the year so far over May bank holiday and the only room that had proper aircon was reception! The rest of the place was like an oven. 「Food was great. Majority of staff were friendly and efficient. If the hadn't tried to sit me facing a wall in a corner as a single guest, the rooms had aircon and better sound installation between them then this would have be 5 stars. Gripes aside I will most likely stay there again if I am visiting the same customer nearby.」

「Very nice place, bedroom was spacious, , bed was very comfortable, bathrrom had a bath with a rain shower, complimentary toiletries. Tv, radio, ironing board, hairdryer, towels in room. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate , sparkling and still water. Plenty on the breakfast menu to choose from. Restaurant menu looks nice i didnt have a meal as was visiting family. 「Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)」

「Parking was good. The hotel was very tired and quite dusty/cobwebs. The room we booked for 4 didn’t hve 4 beds so we were moved to a bigger room. Staff were helpful when checking in but no reception etc so seems rather strange. 」
