I had noticed the extention on the Eaton Oak many times, and managed to get a room at a very reasonable price of £84...

「The guy on reception was not at all friendly, causing one of his colleagues to step in. She was friendly. Sadly the room was not great. The toilet seat was hanging off, and the sink tap was loose. The bathroom floor was filthy with mould on the silicon and a number of insect criters crawling on it. The advertised restaurant was closed so had to go out for foor, wont be staying there again.」

「The property is well located with multi storey car park nearby and the river views very welcoming. Check in late at night was a bit hap hazard, mainly due to process changes but when we really wanted to get to bed it was a bit delayed. The bed was comfy, shower very good and over all very comfortable. 」

Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different.
