「We were there for my nephews wedding which was beautiful the hotel was beautiful the room was excellent though a little bit warm there was a fan and you cant do anything about the weather but everything was excellent 」

「Fantastic stay. Couldnt have been better. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. Only dissappointment was that the restaurant wasnt open for a couple of days during our stay. The food is great.」

「The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. 」

「A lovely location to stay for a few days walking. Owners and staff welcoming and friendly, good food, breakfast & evening, good service. Shepherds huts are clean, warm & cosy. Within good distance for both Chatsworth House & Bakewell also good walks from the inn. I had a very pleasant stay, thank you to the staff.」

「One of the best, if not the best, of the many hotels that we have stayed in. The room was first rate, almost like a suite, the staff were welcoming and efficient and the breakfast was outstanding with locally resourced ingredients. We will certainly return in future.」
