#1 Upon check in, was charged another $100 in case of damage etc. Told would take 3-5 Business days to be removed from credit card, assuming all was ok with the room. #2 Reno underway in other wing of building; hard to tell if our room was already renovated- furniture very old.

A no-frills hotel, with construction on 3-rd floor where my room was. There were no glasses in the room, not even a plastic one ! There was an Outback restaurant just next door, so that’s somewhat a positive. The breakfast was included, but it was very basic. Overall OK for what it was ( just an overnight stay, to break a long drive)

Staff was very nice. Nice complimentary breakfast. Easy to check in and out. My floor was under constuction and the halls were completely torn up like a construction site. Elevator felt unsafe and smelled bad.

If the room its self isnt bad enough with stains on the floor, a ceiling fixture with hanging wires and missing the fixture. The roaches were horrendous. The cabinet that housed the fridge and microwave was so infested that the workers didnt even bother to clean around it. Dead roaches visible, live ones crawling on the wall! My family promptly walked back to the main desk where the worker was very prepared with a name and address already written down for me to then go drop more money on a new hotel for a 3 night stay at 2 in the morning! How could he even let me get charged fully knowing i would be high tailing it back out? Now im waiting on a refund for the waste of time! Such a disgrace even talking up their "wonderful breakfast" knowing they are infested with bugs! Absolute horrible start to my trip!

i filed a complaint with Expedia who will follow-up with this hotel about a refund/partial refund. hotel was under renovation (3rd floor) and an in terrible condition. even several front desk people commented that the 3rd floor should be closed until renovations are complete.

Staff were very nice! This was “okay” for a one-night sleepover on our roadtrip, but would not choose this as a destination accommodation. The room was very dated but it they did seem to be working on other rooms, presumably to remodel them. Not sure why they started sawing/making noise at 8am though. We were already up to check out breakfast but had we wanted to sleep in, I’m not sure that would have been a welcome experience. I will say the area where remodeling was happening was behind two fire doors so it is possible we would not have heard anything while in our rooms. We had to walk through it when going to the elevator and heard it at that time. Overall okay for a cheap sleep but lower quality than other LaQuinta’s we have done one-time overnight stays in before.

Property was nice , but the lock on the room broke and was it was reported , but nothing was done . My room was unlocked while we were gone for the day ( 3 days ) thankfully nothing we missing . It would have been nice if we were not worried about the lock.

One positive...the girl at the front desk was helpful and understanding and grabted a redund. I was suppsoed to stay overnight and ended up not lasting 5 minutes in the room. It was dirty, it smelled, it was outdated, there was trash in the baskets and stains on the towels. I didnt feel safe staying there either. Would not go back.

You can tell the hotel is on the older side but it's also evident that work has been made to upgrade it. The breakfast was superb. Way beyond what I was expecting for the kind of hotel it is, with eggs, bacon, sausage etc. After a long day on the road, it was also extremely convenient to be able to select an easy and quick frozen dinner from their little on-site store. The hotel was quiet and warm enough, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Some other guests were adamant about leaving because the hotel housed people who are new to the country. I commend the hotel for taking these newcomers in. I encountered not one issue with anyone, aside from the guest who demanded his money back upon learning of the newcomers staying there.
