「Super friendly staff. Excellent dinner menu and breakfast. Room was adequate for short stay, but disappointing that the window didn't close properly which resulted in noise from the street and railway line nearby.」

「The property is situated near North Berwick and has beautiful gardens. The building itself is a bit tired. Our room was disappointing for the grade of hotel. Coffee facilities were basis (one packet of two pieces of shortbread to share!). The cooked breakfast was lovely but the continental selection was very poor compared to similar hotels and given that one of the main selling points of the hotel is the Chez Roux restaurant. Cleanliness not what we would have expected either - some litter...

「The location is exceptional as it is in town and wonderful views. The house is very clean and lots of room. This would be perfect for a family or group of golfers. The property manager was helpful with the washing machine. It is not luxury, it is a little more spartan but charming. I would definitely come back.」
