「This was my wife and myself 6th trip to Williamsburg. Previous 5 trips were with family and stayed at one the resorts outside of the park. This trip was just the two of us and stayed in the Chiswell-Bucktrout. Nicely modernized with a comfy queen bed/private bath with the ambience of an earlier time. Loved our stay. 」

「Property on outside was beautiful. On inside was very nice. When you first walk in, carpet looked worn and it did not smell very fresh. Some paint on walls was chipped off. Master bathroom sink drains pretty slow. These are not deal breakers for us but giving you feedback. We will be back and would recommend others. It was a nice time.」

「First time staying at The Colonies and we will definitely stay again next time we’re in Williamsburg. The property is nicely located near the outlets, supermarkets, and restaurants. The pools are great, just the right size to keep an eye on the little ones. And the rooms are spacious and clean, albeit dated. 「唯一的優點是房間很大，房內設施比較老舊，我們連住3晚，不會有每天清潔服務，浴巾也不會每日更換（如果要換浴巾需要加錢），早上10點退房（房卡10點失效，但是之前沒有告知，我們差點被鎖在門外），退房前需要自己把所有使用的餐具放到洗碗機內清洗，垃圾需要自行拿到外面的垃圾收集區域丟（這地點也沒有事先告知），退房前30分鐘我們一直在做家事收拾…… 基本上，我們下次是不會再考慮住這」

「The bed and linens were comfortable. The TV was a nice size. Front desk personnel were very helpful. One thing that I didn't like was the water quality. It seemed very hard compared to previous visits. I also don't like that you have started charging for parking since my last visit.」
