"This hotel is a clear 8 out 10. Amazing location. Great hotel roof bar. Comfortable bed and decent TV. Big, comfy lobby. No wait at front desk. Water pressure was very strong and hot water came quickly. A/C was very good but a little noisy. The decor is cool retro. All that said, it is an old hotel and in need of updates to keep up with the younger ones. There is paint peeling and some of the common areas (eg elevators) are a little dirty. But. None of that impacted our comfort or stay. Some people complained of no coffee maker but there is a Starbucks just steps from lobby. Would stay here again for sure, but would not seek it out."

"Had a horrible experience here with my fiancé and I, would NOT recommend staying at the YOTEL in Time Square as I stayed for memorial weekend, As me and my other half were unpacking she noticed something that was wedge in the corner in the back of the bed and screamed she had found a DIRTY USED CONDOM it was totally disgusting, But we was in a rush to get changed and to go meet with friends for a celebration that we just left so we wouldn't be more late so i grabbed tissues and threw it away in the trash the next day in the lobby it was extremely packed and told the gentleman at the table and he just looked at me and turned his head away and i just laughed and walked away it was a joke, I then reached out by phone and totally ignored me for two weeks pretty much even to this day so if you want to over pay for a disgusting room that doesn't get cleaned properly go to the YOTEL... I gave them the opportunity to do right by me but i was miss treated by there managers and staff"

"Our stay was very nice. Two issues: We received a VIP benefit of a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival. When I asked at the front desk, they said it was already in the refrigerator in our room. It wasn't, but they gave it to me at the front desk with two coupons for buy one get one free margaritas which was very nice of them. The amount of elevators they have for the floors of retail/restaurants which are open to the public and the amount of floors is not adequate at all. We had to wait multiple times in non peak hours for elevators with enough room. Also, there are no back elevators so you will sometimes have to make the choice of riding with commercial trash cans that smell or waiting for 1-3 more elevators. Would also be nice if they would have a hot tub to use year rounds."
