「This hotel met every need! Great breakfast in the morning. Everything was neat and clean. Rooms nice and spacious and clean. Pool area was tight, but it was clean and the kids had fun. Loved that you could walk to several restaurants in the area. Walmart across the street and plenty of gas stations around. Literally 10 mins to the wedding venue that we attended.Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved this hotel.」

「Elevator was broken upon arrival. Breakfast was ok. Very basic was disappointed in very little choices. Barely hot water and no water pressure.」

「Room was in terrible condition. Broken/cracked mirror, significant wall damage, some areas of the walls were not even painted, ripped screen on window, stained furniture, and the over all smell in the hotel was something we can’t even explain. Key cards stopped working 4 hours before check out. Bags of garbage sat in the hallways on the 2nd floor all day and into the evening. If it hadn’t been our son’s graduation and all hotels in the area weren’t booked we would have walked out. This room...

「The hotel was recently built (less than 5 years) and things are pretty new. It’s about 10 minutes driving distance from downtown Iowa City. There are shopping mall and tons of restaurants near the hotel. Staff are very friendly.」

「Took 10 min for the front desk lady to even notice we were at the front desk there was no bell to ring, room keys deactivated almost instantly after using them for our room. Bed was itchy」

「Shower need to be re-caulked. Coffee machine at breakfast delivered half water. No hot or warm water in the morning for a shower before 7:30- 8:00. Immigrant attendant didn't answer the front desk phone and was not helpful. Could barely speak understandable English. When I inquired about no hot water, the reply was: The maintenance man doesn't come until 8:30. No more La Quinta hotels for us. Don't recommend this hotel.」
