We had a television set that did not work. We called the front desk and was told if we unplugged it, then plugged it back in, it should reset and work properly. It did not work any of the three times we unplugged the power cord, then plugged it in again.
We had a function away from the hotel and on our way out, reported to the front desk employee that we still did not have a working television in our room. We were told someone would go to our room and take a look. We returned more than six hours later, but still no working TV.
At about 9 a.m. the next morning there was a knock on our door from someone wanting to look at the television set. We were minutes away from checking out, so that wasn't convenient for us, and by that time, we didn't really care if it got fixed.
We weren't offered a discount or a different room.
