「The condo itself and the location was beautiful! The beach is gorgeous. But not enough restaurants and bars near by. Destin is cold! Next time we have to go farther south because we went for time out from cold michigan winter/spring and Destin is best in summer. Otherwise, we would have re- booked for next year, and for a longer time. 」

「We liked the location of this property. It was a nice property in good condition. We did not like that there was no directions on where to turn things on (i.e. lights, fans, dimmers, outside pool lights, and the pool deck and firepit area were not cleared of fallen leaves.」

「Very convenient location to entertainment, shopping, restaurants and the beach. Parking is very limited and challenging. We weren't aware there was construction going on at the property with sidewalk repairs during our stay. It was quite noisy at times. The very comfortable beds made up for the daytime noise!」

「It was a great stay! Very nice set up, beds were very comfortable. Had a beautiful view of the ocean. I brought my 5 year old daughter, she loved it! They had beach toys for her to use at the beach. Chairs, movies and other apps on the tv to use. Overall a great stay!! 」

「Totally unacceptable policy of check out time of 9:00am! The normal check out time for other similar units and properties in the area is 11:00am. Check in time is 4:00pm and the only way to extend the check out time was an additional fee (not even a full day). Completely inflexible when they acknowledged there was no one checking in the same day as my departure. Will never rent from Southern Vacation Rentals again.」
