FULL and honest comprehensive review. THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR RESORT* Hotel/grounds: everything looks slightly run down or half rate, an example of this is the little hill going down from the pool to the main grass/beach area, by afternoon it turns into mud. Anytime a resort doesnt have installed speakers, is also a tell that its not taking ambiance seriously. Also not sure why beach front resorts haven't fully adopted wristbands for keys instead of having actual key cards, big miss here. There is decent wifi throughout the property. Room: We booked a two bedroom pool villa. While the actual master bedroom was nicely appointed. The layout is EXTREMELY odd. The two bedrooms are completely separated and the living space is yet another separated area with no locks. You need to remember your physical key card if you want to go from bedroom to bedroom. It's a really poor layout especially if you bring kids. Also it's very odd the beds are on wheels and move every time you sit on them. The pool itself was nice, nothing great. Just wasnt as inviting as the pool villa we had a Mikazuki in Da Nang. Pool: we spent most of our time at the beach front pool. Again it was fine. No servers. Again detracting from a real 5 star property, you needed to trade- in cards to get towels and vice versa, just seems like a petty policy. The beach is probably the highlight here. Nice sand, clean, good clean water with no seaweed. No beach chairs really set out on the beach and no service on the beach.

The initial room we booked (Premium Suite, balcony) appeared way smaller than the photo. I thought the room in reality was quite small. The blanket linen is really thin. Although a comforter is provided in the closet, it had stains and had no duvet cover. Most rooms from my experience have a clean comforter to stay warm at night but this hotel in general did not. Also, the breakfast was noooot good at all. Milk is usually left out and without insulation. Though with these concerns, I appreciated their offer to upgrade our room to a larger size. However, my sentiment for the above stays the same.

Did I stay in the same place as all these other reviews?? I feel like I’m missing something because this was not a comfortable stay. Firstly, the location - while very convenient and within walking distance to shops and the lake, it was right opposite a hospital. Despite the ad saying the rooms were soundproof, they absolutely were not. Sirens from the hospital went off at all hours, as well as people using loudspeakers and traffic. I expect some traffic noise in a busy city but this was crazy. They did provide earplugs in the room which helped, but be warned you can hear absolutely everything going on outside. Secondly, the bed - the WORST bed I have EVER slept in. My sister had a room 4 floors above mine with the same problem. It was rock hard, I don’t know how they can call it a mattress, it was like sleeping on cement. My back and hips are so sore from 3 nights on this torture device. Between this and the street noise, I slept very poorly. The whole place is a bit tired and could do with a refresh and deep clean. Breakfast was ok, a basic offering of fruit, breads and eggs, and the staff were lovely. But I can’t award it more than 2 stars. That bed is going to haunt me.

But generally speaking, if you've booked your Vietnam vacation package in the last 24 hours, you may be able to change or cancel it without penalty. Your hotel, airline or car rental company may impose a fee if you made your booking a while ago.
