「The stay was OK overall, but the floor from elevator to room was extremely cold ... which led my wife and I to not use the pool for fear of freezing when heading back to the room after a dip. But the last morning wasn't great. There were dogs in the breakfast area which caused me and a few others to just walk away and head to a local restaurant to get healthier choices.」

「Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc.」

「Overall a great hotel for our needs. Close to the Stanley Theater. Check in and out process was easy. Clean, helpful staff. Enjoyed the coffee, water and cookies offered in the lobby. Free breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable...could use more lighting. Overall a great stay for the price. Definitely recommend」

「This hotel is located across the street from turning stone. We went to turning stone to golf and have fun. The shuttle service was excellent! We never waited more than 5 minutes. The staff was great and informative! The breakfast was very good as well. AND we found a lovely bistro about a minute west of the hotel where the food was great and we could fo a wine tasting.」
