「The owner is nice as can be, but unfortunately I have to be honest in this review- My night there was not pleasant by any means. Parking was a bit of an issue as the bar/restaurant loaded the parking lot and then there were cones out on the far end of the parking area which really made it hard to park. Front door to the room didn't entirely shut which allowed flying bugs into the room all night. There were gnats or something all over the room- on the pillow, on the bed, in the bathroom. ...

「Overall - good stay. Beds are soft, but rooms are clean enough. Free breakfast, sausage was pretty good! We were not allowed to split the cost of a room with 2 credit cards, which set us back momentarily... but all OK」

「Expected much higher end for the price. Rooms were average at best in the Alder. Complimentary coffee was available until the coffee machine in the lobby broke. No attempt made as a back up. Most of bars served wine in plastic cups!! That I found ridiculous. Needed to write down directions at one point but there was no pen or paper in the room…had to borrow one from the front desk. The food in the restaurants was ok. Definitely 1 high end restaurant. The rest…not so good.」

「Perfectly located near the tri-state border, this was a great place to stay while exploring the Delaware River Gap and visiting nearby restaurants and breweries. Owners were helpful and the room was comfortable and well-maintained. Would stay again in the area.」
