「Very peaceful place to stay with nice restaurant on the grounds. Gated access added to security. Able to walk along the water front and to a few different eateries. Only a seven minute, easy walk to the water taxis. We caught our bus to Guatemala near the water taxis. Wish we had saved some time to catch the water taxis to a one or more of the excursions offered.」

「Staff was helpful, room was clean. Options for private or shared bathroom. Front door locked in the evening and no guests allowed, so safe for single travelers. Beer and water for sale and front desk, and a nice little balcony on the river. Short walk to the museum.」

Pictures somehow make it all feel bigger even though they’re accurate. Neighborhood is bleak, and the few restaurants in the area happened to be closed all week for Easter.」
