"Our stay at the Adobe Inn in Carmel-by-the-Sea was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. Check-in with Jean was quick and friendly — she made us feel right at home. One charming touch is that the Adobe Inn still uses traditional keys instead of electronic cards. It adds to the cozy, classic feel of the place and makes it stand out from modern chain hotels. The inn’s location is unbeatable — just steps from downtown Carmel’s beautiful streets, unique boutiques, art galleries, and amazing restaurants. Exploring the area couldn’t have been easier or more enjoyable. Our room was a true highlight. It was incredibly spacious, featuring a comfortable living room, a huge bedroom with two queen-size beds, and two full bathrooms — perfect for families or friends traveling together. We also loved having two private balconies where we could unwind and soak in the fresh coastal breeze. While the Adobe Inn isn’t a five-star luxury hotel, we also didn’t pay $1,000 a night for it — and that’s exactly why it’s such a fantastic find. It offers incredible value, comfort, and plenty of space in a prime location. It’s clean, quiet, and full of that special Carmel charm. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a spacious, comfortable stay right in the heart of beautiful Carmel!"
