We loved the spacious room and location of the hotel. The breakfasts delivered to the room was fresh and healthy and good. The staff was very friendly and let us have an early check in. I’d have given the hotel 5 stars but it does need a bit of a facelift.

Clean, comfortable and well maintained property that’s good value for the area. Great location. They’ve worked hard to bring some nice charm and character to the “motel” bones of the place. The only issue is that the walls are a bit thin - hopefully you have quiet neighbors next to your room.

Beautiful, luxury property. Everything was great. Please note there is no air conditioning. We came in May and with windows open and provided fan it cooled down quickly.

Celebrated our son's birthday in Carmel. We liked the property location as it was away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. It was a good walk down to the beach and didn't have to worry about finding parking. Nice view from the upstairs room.

We had a great stay at Tradewinds Carmel! Christine greeted us with a warm welcome. The location was perfect - tucked away, quiet, yet a short walk to all the shopping and restaurants. A wonderful hand-selected breakfast was delivered each morning, and we enjoyed it in the lovely garden area. Our room was very nice, especially the view of the ocean.

We loved our stay here! We didn’t want to leave and wish we booked longer. It was very reasonably priced too. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It was also beautifully decorated. The people were very friendly. There isn’t a lot of parking but we found spaces near the hotel easy enough if there weren’t many spaces. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Easy drive to pebble beach and Monterey. The morning breakfast basket was the best, we loved ours! Would recommend!

Going there from Carmel, there is no GPS signal, so we missed the entrance and ended up taking an extra hour of driving. But once we got there it is very nice.
