「My stay at the Hollander was great! It was super conveniently located as I was attending a game at Tropicana field. 5 minute drive away! The room itself was very clean and I got upgraded to a queen suite for free upon arriving! The desk host who checked me in was very friendly as was the restaurant staff. I felt safe as a solo traveler inside the hotel. Outside the hotel seemed safe as well although I stayed close just for extra precautions as I was traveling alone. I would recommend this hotel...

「The Expedia listing said “pay at property,” but I was charged through Expedia and then charged again by the hotel for the stay. On top of that, there were several hidden fees that were never clearly disclosed. 「This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.」
