"Good experience of Japanese hotel with onsen inside and outside big so not crowded in fact I had onsen to myself in morning"

"The hosts makes this entire stay. Very welcoming and friendly. Shoes are placed out in front in the morning before you leave, and the host walks you through the entire place to show you around. I highly recommend this place for couples or small groups. Warning: beds are traditional and on the floor so pretty hard. Shared shower room could be hard if staying multiple nights. We stayed one night so did not effect us as much. Also, everything in the area is a walk! keep this in mind when looking for food or things to do."

"We loved our stay here, the bath on the balcony was so relaxing and peaceful and there are both public and private onsens that can be used when available. My husband and I used the private onsens and enjoyed the free ice cream and drinks also available at all times. The kaiseki breakfast and dinners were a great experience and a good opportunity to try traditional Japanese cuisine. The staff are very kind, welcoming and friendly and it’s about a 10 minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto station."

"We specifically booked a room with the private bath located on the 4th floor. We came by car and there's free parking. Valet was very friendly, front desk staff are also friendly with decent English knowledge. The included dinner and breakfast buffet was outstanding. It is absolutely worth coming here for a trip in Hakone, especially if you prefer a private bath."
