"We felt absolutely spoiled here. The room was spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. Easy to find cabs and the bus was just outside giving easy access. Good restaurants within walking distance though not in the thick of things. Definitely recommend."

"Spacious room with good facilities but the mattress is a bit too soft and there’s no view from the room because there’s a piece of something outside the window.
Location is close to the JR station but there are no restaurants or cafes nearby."

"Really nice and good sized room, great service from the staff, connected to a 7-Eleven, the interior of the room and hotel as a whole was amazing! :)"
"We recently stayed for a week, and it was a relaxing stay in Kyoto. The staff was great, the room clean, the breakfast awesome. The onsen was a relaxing experience, and we are glad we could stay during our vacation."
"Love the shower, firm pressure. Rooms were clean, and amenities were nice. My only wish is that they would make the bed when they come in. They clean the room every 3 days, but they come in and do a light touch-up daily, and I wish they would make the bed on those days."
"This was our first trip to Japan for me and my 2 kids (13 and 16 year olds). Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights. There was a 7-11 close by which was very handy so we could stock our fridge with onigiri and snacks. The toaster in the room was great for breakfast goodies. Room was very comfortable and clean. There wasn't a lot of moving room which didn't bother us but made opening suitcases tricky. Hotel was about 16 mins walk to Kyoto Station which doesn't sound bad but tiring after being out all day. There are bus stops close to it though."
"Property may show a little age but the service is exceptional. The staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They were super helpful and accommodating and they were some of the most thoughtful and polite people we encountered in Japan! Our room was always pristine and our amenities like slippers and sleeping shirts were always refilled and fresh! Though the hotel was busy it was very quiet and calm there. All the restaurants we tried were excellent! It’s not far from the subway/trains or bus stops but we ended up using the GO taxi app to get most places because they are cheaper and more numerous than Uber there."
"location to train station, hot tub area, room, beds, amenities, bathrooms. More or less everything. Wish they had free breakfast. It was pricey though for per person so we ate outside. "
