「The cleaning and dining staff was very friendly and helpful. Some of the check in/front desk staff was extremely helpful and others were completely clueless. Luck of the draw. Overall the staff kept the place clean however the hotel itself has seen better days. The lobby intermittently smelled as if they had a sewage backup and our room has a very musty/moldy smell to it.」

「The cabins have so much potential with making it nicer . I believe we stayed at a newer two story “ “accessibility” cabin. Which the only thing accessible was the bathroom entry. There was no way a wheel chair could go up the stairs or into a small room with tall beds. The floors were super dirty and honestly not sure if they were ever mopped. My kids feet were black with in the first 10 minutes of walking around. There’s spiders everywhere! The webs are so bad! There’s may flies dead all over...

「Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat.」

「From the outside it looks like a nice place, the room was clean but there were ants in the bathroom. There was a fridge in the closet but no microwave, the room was dark as there is only one lamp on the nite table. The room is sadly lacking ac outlets and no lamp near the table. We have never seen a coffee pot like the one there, when you pour the coffee it leaks out over everything, also there was only one pack of coffee, we had to go ask for more. 「The condo is pretty far away from town,however the horse taxis are fun and easily available.They have a porter to send your luggage on,at the ferry docks.So you don’t have to go back and forth.You can stay right in town and explore the island until you are ready to head to your room.When we did our luggage was in room waiting for us.Also the next day at check-out the porter took our luggage to the ferry and made sure we got the next available taxi into town.When we were ready to head back to...
