「The room was large, clean, and well furnished. We were able to get adjoining rooms with our daughter and her kids for a fun time in Des Moines. We arrived on Friday and we were able to park in the lot next to the hotel. It was only about half full and the spaces were large enough. The only difficulty was figuring out what to enter and where to enter it when we entered the lot the first time. Place the room key card against the flat pad. 「The staff at the check in desk were so very helpful with arranging rooms closer together for my friend and I. They did it all with great humor. They answered all our questions about Uber, restaurants near the Civic Center, and helped me get signed into WiFi. The room was so spacious and clean and the bathroom was huge. One suggestion I have is to put grab bars in the shower, especially for those of us who aren’t as agile as we used to be. 」

The staff were awesome and welcoming and efficient. The happy hour drinks and snacks were great as well as the morning breakfast buffet where we enjoyed a delicious custom made omelette. 「Didn’t expect to pay a $30 charge for parking my vehicle. Seems excessive since the parking spots are packed in like sardines. Other than that the room was great. Very clean and spacious 」

「Our check in went great but when we arrived at our room the door was propped open by the deadbolt. The man at the counter came down and fixed it immediately. Then, when we complained that the dog next door was continuously barking, he gave us a different room. Bed was very comfortable and the rest of our stay was great. We will definitely stay there again.」
