"I think my only comment is the bartender could be friendlier . She acted inconvenienced everytime we ordered a drink. It was NYE and there was only one bartender and the place was packed all night, feel like it could have been staffed better for a night like NYE. "

"The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and efficient during check-in. The room is well equipped and clean. This has become my go-to spot when visiting Des Moines. Very few other hotels within the downtown area offer free parking. The breakfast buffet is nice. I'll keep staying here when I return."

"The greeter at the front desk was pleasant and knowledgeable. We were attending a concert at Woolys. Easily walkable to the venue and we had dinner beforehand at the Iowa Taproom. Also easily walkable. Clean hotel and room. Coffee was delicious the next morning. Breakfast looked and smelled great but we chose to eat at the breakfast club a couple blocks away. "
