I made a mistake leaving a shirt and jeans in my room after leaving, the staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me in getting the items posted back to my house - really went the extra mile. 「I LOVED Carol. She was welcoming and kind, made an amazing breakfast for me, answered all my questions. A great hostess. My room (12) was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows and extra blankets. Nice big TV. The water pressure was really low but I think that’s typical in older buildings. The garden was peaceful and I enjoyed sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Great stay. Traveled from Canada.」

「Loved my stay! The staff was super friendly and nice, felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was perfect, I also dinned in the restaurant and loved everything. Banana Toffee Waffle dessert is well worth the calories!」

「Staff where very friendly, but it was a maze to get to the room, clearer signs need to be put up to direct people to their rooms. Due to warm weather it would have been ideal for the rooms to have A/C」

「I did not get use of the room as the hotel was locked up despite calling and leaving messages there was no reply . I had the inconvenience of having to travel 12 miles to find another hotel .」

「Two bulbs were not working so clothes unit and te a are were in the dark.The bathroom rack was red rusty where the towels were placed.Bathroom shelf was chipped all way along the edge.Needs repairs.」

Lovely location for a walking break - we appreciated use of the pub car park before check-in/after check-out. Would stay here again in future.」
