"Overall, you can tell the hotel is trying to create.l good experience for the price. For the price and location it’s perfectly good. We didn’t plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel, but there are plenty of things to do within walking distance. The breakfast isn’t great to looks at, but there are 5 breakfast joints right nearby. The beds were clean. The room cooled easily enough, and there were no funny smells in our room. The hotel still does look dated, but for $150 a night in a place where $350 is average it’s fine. They could pay closer attention to detail, the mirrors and shower doors were smudgy, there was some damage in our room that hadn’t been repaired well, just minor cosmetics (but it does impact how you feel about the place). The water stayed hot for a long time, and there was no noise from the hallway or neighbors. if you are looking to save some money and plan to enjoy St. Joseph, this is a good pick."
