The hotel was in a quieter area of the St. Joseph general vicinity. We loved Coach's Grill and Bar that was very close to the hotel. Everything was very clean and welcoming.

Love the Stevensville/St. Joseph, MI area…this is a great hotel… my 4th time staying there…the check in associate was awesome… accommodations great… will be back again… sorry the pool couldn’t be used… close to many places and easy driving!

I was pretty impressed with my stay. Everything was really nice for the most part. I realized the next morning that our sheets were dirty (we had gotten in really late). The coffee at breakfast wasn't great but there was a pretty good selection of food (not vegan friendly tho).

Traveling thru the holidays

The room was extremely clean. The hotel has a new smell to it which was evident in my room also. No complaints and would return. Also the beds are very comfortable everything was great.

A nice hotel

We stayed one night, on our way home from northern Michigan. The hotel is easy to find. Parking was ample. Check in went a bit longer than I thought it should, as the room was pre-paid. The desk clerk was not overly friendly, but she wasn’t unfriendly. The room was comfortable, especially the bedding. The shower was one of the better designs I’ve seen in a hotel bathroom and I enjoyed the shower. The breakfast was fairly typical, nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. Some lines were rather long as people waited to access some of the more popular food items.

Pleased enough

Over the past few years we have stayed at this relatively new Fairfield and it has always been in top shape. But this time we noticed the location was starting to show some wear and tear. Staffing challenges are likely the biggest cause, as they likely have struggled to maintain sufficient staff levels just like many other hospitality businesses. We will stay at this location again with the hopes that no further deterioration takes place in the near future.

Overall a bit disappointed in my room for the price I paid. But I will start with positives - clean lobby, exterior looks nice and well maintained, and breakfast was good. The hotel is in a good location as well. The negatives - The first room I got had a smell, was hot and muggy, and bathroom was dirty. I did mention this to staff and was given a new room which was appreciated. The second room also smelled and was muggy, and the air conditioner was loud. There were two sets of curtains, but the thicker blackout ones didn’t close all the way, so we couldn’t block out the bright lights from the car dealership outside that our room faced. And the lights at the dealership are on 24-7. I wasn’t notified if my room was ready earlier or not until arriving at the hotel. A bit disappointed, i dont like to leave reviews like this but this was my experience.
