Relax in Dowagiac.

A welcoming smile after a long day and a late check-in. Very helpful with local dining options. I will come back if the opportunity arises. A comfy bed with the basics ie Fridge and microwave .

Great experience

Based off of previous reviews I had no idea what to expect. We had a great stay! Bed was comfortable and room was clean. We appreciate it being a dog friendly hotel and not having to pay insane dog fees. The place is currently under renovation. Employees were all very nice. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend. Can't beat the price!

Mid-Update

This hotel is under new ownership and undergoing renovations. The outside has clearly not been updated, we were concerned when we arrived. Our room has new paint and beds, minimal cheap furniture, and the bathroom furnishings are mid-upgrade. It was good enough for a one night stop and has potential. The room was clean, which is our priority.

This was recently purchased by a new owner. If you need a clean room with good A/C, a comfy bed, good shower and toilet at a great price then this is your place. If you’re looking for the Ritz this is not your place. Room had a frig but no microwave and some things are a bit dated. But it was clean, bug free and comfy. There was a microwave downstairs that you could use. All and all we were happy and it served the purpose.

Patrons above my room arguing each night of my stay, kids running up and down hallway knocking on doors and running away. Manager was very nonchalant and not helpful for the most part. I paid good money for my jetted tub room to spend Valentine's Day with my wife and neither of us could enjoy it. I actually checked out earlier than planned due to all of the craziness upstairs and in hallway. I even asked for a refund this morning because I am not satisfied with my stay or things that transpired during my stay. One good thing is the housekeeper I think her name is shanay or something like that made sure my room was clean and amenities were available for me. I can't and won't recommend this hotel ever and again I do want a refund. I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday night listening to fighting and kids all night long,

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Everybody that worked there was so nice.The housekeeper was very friendly. We will definitely go again. I really, really wished that there was a microwave in the room and there was no alarm clock in the room, that is the only things that we were not happy about.

The pool has been out of operation for quite some time. The clerk had a hard time with the check-in process and charged me twice (he did call for assistance and rectified the situation.) The rooms could use a little updating. The door to my room stuck really bad and I had to shoulder it pretty hard to get it to open. Overall, it's fine for the price and I would stay again.
