"The hotel was clean and well kept, the room was a good size and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, buffet breakfast had a good selection. All in all I would stay again"

"Absolutely enjoyed our stay at this hotel! I highly recommend it if you are visiting bath, it is right in the center of everywhere you need to be. And also it is right next door to the thermal bath spa. My only complaint is when we booked it it said we had use of the amenities of the hydrotherapy within the hotel. Getting close to our booking date we received information about it letting us know when we were allowed to attend. We were restricted from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. I do understand it is to keep the quiet and ambience of the spa however those times didn't entirely work for us so we did not end up getting the full experience we were hoping for. However our rooms were beautiful, the classical music that played in the rooms was an added touch that I didn't even know I would enjoy! I do highly recommend however I hope in the future there will be more clarification on the Expedia and website of the hotel that explain it has extreme minimal time usage throughout the day. "

"Breakfast was very disappointing. Had an early flight so went down for breakfast at 4:30am. Got hot chocolate from machine -came out looking disgusting- very watery. Not a single croissant or pain au chocolate - staff member said we would have to wait 10mins on them coming out of the oven. Sorry but when already up early and in a rush for a flight this was unacceptable. Rest of selection very poor!"

"The hotel has amazing character and suits those looking to experience British history! Super friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and quite out there interior design vs the boring modern hotels. The poached eggs with the breakfast were also some of the best I have ever had."
