「This is a very nice old historic inn. It has a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and a bar inside, as well as a shady garden with places to sit outside as you enjoy a drink or food. Nice big porch out front with chairs on it too. Our room had another sitting room in it that was nice to have. Not sure if they all do. It includes a free, great breakfast at a sister property a few doors down where the food is made fresh for your order. The property is well kept, clean, and the staff...

「Clean Room and Friendly Helpful staff」

「Had a lady help me find my room which was nice. Our room was decent, no bugs or anything suspicious. Only problem was some dried pee stains on the floor of the toilet. For a last minute booking, this was good. Area felt safe too compared to others I’ve been too.」

「The hotel was horrible. Toilet was broken and corroded. Hotel locks wouldn’t work. Has to switch rooms and the front desk clerk was never at the desk. Washer machines wete rusted and broken. Don’t waste your money and time.」

「The room was not cleaned, there were stains and food debris on the sheets, clear signs of bedbugs being present, all metal surfaces were rusted over, the mattresses were damp and sticky, the "staff" was a video kiosk that connected to a call center. Even after not staying in the room at all, and alerting the "staff" of all the issues and that I wanted to cancel my stay (I wasn't in the room for more than 10 minutes before deciding to leave) they refused to refund my money unless they showed me...

「Imagine a hotel that has been completely destroyed, but then remodeled and renovated, but only 80%. Whether this was an amazing place that got partially destroyed, or a fully destroyed place that got partially renovated it does not matter. Sheets and bathroom were clean, but furniture was partially destroyed.」

「The ac was strong and worked well. I enjoyed the stay. Looks shabby on the outside but it’s a good hotel I’m pleased. Shower was a little tiny but nonetheless for the price sooo worth it.」

「There was nothing to like about this place. A/C was di not reach in the bedroom. Place was full of roaches. Drug addicts hanging around. Sign said no dogs but the room right below me had one barking all night. I had to depart early but no one is in the office until 10. Expedia had this place rated at 7.4. Expedia needs to do a better job vetting their listings. Price was 73 dollars a night.」

「Had the best stay at Decoy's!!!! Cottage #1 exceeded our expectations - THE VIEW!!! the adorable decor, the most comfortable bedding... I could not recommend this place more. The area is super safe and kid-friendly. The cottages do not have front desk staff available in person, but everyone we spoke to over the phone was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We made the most beautiful memories here in the cottages with our family - 5 stars all around. Thank you, Decoy's!」

「The front desk worker was very rude!! They do a no refund policy to force you to pay all of there hidden fees. I booked a smoking room online to get there and be told “from her end it saids nonsmoking” so I would have to pay them a 50$ deposit or pay them a extra 25$ to get it switched to a smoking room even though I booked a smoking room so I basically paid 93 dollars for a room that was suppose to be 68$. They also have a 1$ deposit for room keys. The microwave and fridge was dirty. Someone...

「The room was clean and up to date. However, the shower rod was sagging so the shower curtain would not stay in place, and the ice machine was near our room and was very noisy, especially when someone wanted ice each morning at 5:30. You should also be aware that they allow pets. We could hear dogs yipping in the hallway and next door.」

「Our room wasn’t offered clean towels for two days. Our bed wasn’t made timely during day hours while we were out. Some receptionists weren’t very friendly: just overall experience wasn’t the best. We’ve stayed here every year for the past 3. This was the worst yet experience.」
