「This is a very nice old historic inn. It has a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and a bar inside, as well as a shady garden with places to sit outside as you enjoy a drink or food. Nice big porch out front with chairs on it too. Our room had another sitting room in it that was nice to have. Not sure if they all do. 「These are fabulous rooms for a quiet getaway! Quaint and peaceful with lovely view of the river. Nice working AC and the little fireplace is nice ambiance (minus heat since it’s July). Beautiful large shower. Streaming works easily. And room had cutest “functioning” ice maker the size of the Keurig :-] Reservation/Check-in via text was seamless and I was kept well informed! Restaurant on site is always a pleasure! (A couple vending machines wouldn’t be a terrible idea for at least soda)」

「Unvacuumed and very dirty carpet, very dirty hallways, very dirty pool, very dirty shower. Terrible breakfast they provide the spoiled milk.」

「Really liked the room configuration which we need to accommodate my husband, my granddaughter and grandson. There was a keurig coffeemaker in the room but no pods. I asked at the front desk and was given several packets of the coffee pouches used in the usual hotel coffeemakers. I questioned him but was told that was all they had. Waited until 5:55 and went downstairs to find the night clerk asleep on a couch and no breakfast even started. ( which was supposed yo be available at 6) finally...

「It was about 10:30pm.we had driven a lttle over 3 hours from Maryland. We only stayed one night and it was our worst stay. The young woman at the front desk who checked us in was very rude. She was laid back in the chair with her feet up on the counter when we walked in. My friend politely asked to be checked in. She stood up and said, "ID and credit card." No smile. No welcoming slogan. No, hello. I stood off to the side to appear to not be with him just so I could observe what would happen...

「The AC in our King bed with pull out sofa bed room was terrible. Temperature could not be controlled. Wall thermostat was almost unusable. Expedia stated a $100 pet fee when I booked, but I was charged $150. In addition, there was no mention of a daily parking fee of $5.30 when I booked or at check-in. We left a day early and I understand we would not be refunded that last night even though we did not stay there, but we were also charged that parking fee for a parking space we did not use. The...

「The room was clean, when I checked in. My only suggestion would be to change out the shower liner. The continental breakfast wasn't the greatest but only because there were limited options. I would recommend this hotel and/or stay here again.」
