「Everything was new and clean. The area felt really safe (directly across the street from the police department). The breakfast was what you'd expect. The view is amazing. We stayed one night ON Mackinac Island and this was WAY better than that experience. This place was quiet inside and out, comfy bed, very spacious. I'd stay here again.」

「We stayed at Wayside the night before we were catching a ferry to Mackinac Island. The rooms were completely remodeled - new paint, carpet, bathrooms, etc. Very clean and comfortable stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful - they called to let us know about an item we left in the room and called the ferry shuttle to pick us up. Overall great stay and service! 」
