「Photos give a very different impression to the reality. Building is very tired and was locked when we arrived early afternoon. Room was extremely small, with a very tiny en-suite. No curtains only blinds on the window meant that we were woken early by the early morning sun. Property is on a very busy, noisy road.」

「The Bower House property is truly a gem. Clean and beautiful property at a reasonable rate. Nobody around on Monday and Tuesdays to check you in just a lock box system, but it works well.」

「Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.」

「As we didn’t book direct with the hotel our evening meal wasn’t included. That wasn’t a problem as you could dine in any of the restaurants for £30 per head. Traveller’s be aware though if you didn’t want to dine in there was no other food purchase options available after 4pm. They don’t offer room service either. The grounds are extensive and it’s not possible to walk to anywhere. Take snacks with you as there is a fridge available in the room.」
