「The standard rooms are very small, I mean very small, but thoughtfully designed. They are fine for a solo stay, especially if you plan to be out and about most of the time. The front desk is great and the service reliable. The free breakfast is more than adequate. The gym is minimal. Chelsea Market us just across Ninth Avenue. What you lose in opulence (lobby, room size) you gain in character and location. 」

My stay felt very safe and personable, I had everything I needed, and if I didn't I had the front desk to always guide me through any questions I had. 「Loved the aesthetics, the attention and elegance in every detail. Wonderful team, always present and helpful with a smile. Sophisticated rooms & bathrooms with quality brands essentials. We enjoyed every restaurant and mostly the beautiful terrace and view. The only disadvantage was the larking at 120$ per 24h with 120$ everytime we need the take the car when it’s unlimited access in other luxurious hotels we’ve been. We were lucky though to find free parking right there for 3 days. 」

「Love how quiet the Ludlow is (we were on floor 11), despite it being in a busy area. I did find it odd that I had to request a luggage rack for the room, but they brought it up very quickly. The room and common areas were clean. My only nitpicks are that I didn't love the pillows (not enough neck support) and the toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall. 」

「The splurge was worth the very comfortable bed, the plush robe, and nice bathroom products, after my return international flight. I enjoyed the handsome lobby and ample café. You could definitely hear any halfway noise, but it wasn't during late hours. 」
