「We stayed in the most basic room on the property, which was very clean and stylish, very well priced especially considering it's in the middle of World Cup and Knicks playoffs Etc. Bedding was comfy, shower small but great water pressure and good quality toilet products. 「This was built as a 5 star establishment, and the door weights and materials will remind you of 1990s property that afforded a non-fake luxury. This is not the ubiquitous “luxury” pizazz term seen all over the place. It still remembers what Gen X knew as luxury aka quality not a scene.」

「We had a great stay at the maritime hotel. Great staff, and the room had great western views towards the Hudson (small sliver of a view of the river) and a few fantastic buildings by Heatherwick, BIG, Nouvel, and Gehry….all from our little porthole window. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, mainly cheap croissants, but the coffee was good enough. The west village is one of the best places to stay in the city and we would happily stay here again.」
