"This is our go to hotel when staying in the Santa Monica area. The hotel is conveniently located away from the commercial/congested areas of Santa Monica. We have found the property to be much more reasonably priced than all other alternative hotels. The common areas are slightly dated and in need of a spruce up, but they are nice enough to be completely acceptable as well. The rooms themselves are more than adequate, and they are impeccably cleaned. We want to give a special shout out to the tremendous staff at the Hyatt Centric Delfina - they are all absolutely terrific. Front desk staff are super helpful and always handle check-in in a friendly and efficient manner. The staff at the restaurant/bar in the lobby are truly fantastic, and the food is actually quite good (particularly breakfast). Make sure you stop by and say hello to Carlos. Carlos is the main man behind the counter at the lobby restaurant, and he is a true gem! I am nominating Carlos as the official ambassador for the hotel. He is not only knowledgeable about everything pertaining to the hotel and the surrounding area, but he is as warm, friendly and engaging of a person as you will find anywhere!"

"Originally I rated this 2 stars because I had a mix up with the date of my reservation and the supervisor at the front desk was completely unhelpful basically said NO and would not accommodate me even though it was Hilton's website that made the error ( I would be out a few hundred dollars). I still paid for an additional room. The next day after my stay a Hilton service rep called me and apologized and got me a refund for the date that was incorrect and gave me some Hilton points for my inconvenience. Service rep was great. Because of him I will keep using Hilton for my future stays. After that I changed my rating to 4 stars"
