「Nice clean and quiet room.」

「Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening. 「Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.」

「Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.」

「Setting was idylic, bar area was cosy and warm especially when log fire was burning. Staff very welcoming and charming. Restuarant lovely and food excellent, limited menu but prepared fresh. Rooms very quaint, little one bedroom cottage, lounge area downstairs with Tv and upstairs a bedroom and bathroom with large bath and powerful shower. Will certainly return」

「From arrival to departure the staff were attentive, and polite. The room was spacious and didn't require anything else. Plenty of parking. The breakfast choice was good and tasty.」

「Josie was very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive and couldnt do enough. We were offered a much needed hot drink on arrival which was brought to our room. Our room was very clean, more than enough tea, coffee etc, it even had dressing gowns. Little touches of Usb points on plugs and even a little chocolate each. We felt veey welcomed.」
