"It’s ok"

"Great room and space was fine - was thinking room would be smaller! Coffee maker was a bonus. Staff at desk were always lovely and friendly. Mostly fine for waiting for lifts/elevators but at busier times was a longer wait. There are 3 though so wasn’t too bad as other reviews worried me about this before going. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Had to ask for firmer pillow though - they accommodated quickly. Walls are thin and did shake when other doors slammed shut. Situated by lift which wasn’t an issue but also by the cleaning cupboard so was woken a few times - one at 2:30am with someone on their walkie talkie. Smoke alarm was going off on night we got back - they removed battery and said would replace next day but it never got replaced before we then left. Overall a great stay - location is fab next to a lot of things and also to lots of subway options. Walkable to Staten Island ferry / charging bull / Wall Street etc. Would definitely stay here again."

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and this property. I stayed back in Feb in the days leading up to the blizzard - Shaq and the team were so incredibly helpful at this time and overall every staff member I met was incredibly thoughtful, considerate and polite. My room was immaculate, obviously the rooms are a little more compact but I never felt without. It is very thoughtfully designed. I enjoyed my stay so much that I’ll be returning in a couple of weeks. The location is perfect walking distance to really anything you may need. I think this will be my go to place on each NYC visit. Thanks again guys, look forward to seeing you soon! "

"Clean room and friendly, attentive staff"

"The room and hotel were excellent. The only issue that I had was that in the shower there was a silicone lip that is supposed to hold the water back from going all over the floor. It wasn’t secured or siliconed properly. There was also some mold on and under it. "

"The elevators were not working properly during our stay. Sometimes we waited 15 minutes for an elevator to arrive. Rooms were a bit tired. Views and location are great. "

"The location downtown is good and close to the subway and other points of interest. The common areas of the hotel are very nice including a bar. During my stay the windows were apparently being cleaned and I was not made aware. While on a work zoom, a man outside thumped loudly against my window, yelled something at me and pulled my cracked window shut. It truly disrupted my call and scared me. The hotel desk said they had fliers at the desk and told people upon check in but I had not been told and didn't noice any flyer. They agreed to take the resort fees off for my stay to compensate but didn't do that. It was a big lack of communication on a pretty major pending event. Other than that, they stay was good and the hotel pleasant."
