「We were next to the laundry room. There was a loud sound coming through the bathroom all night, pipes over the shower, sounded like water was being poured in the tub no hot water, no shower. You could not pull the. Lever to start a shower the water was lukewarm couldn’t get any hotter. The staff was nice, but we had to change hotels and get our money back.」

「Everything about the Island House was fabulous! The host, Bernie and Kenny are great and prepared wonderful breakfast and snacks, especially the carrot cake with cream cheese icing! The location is good also, conveniently located to everything. We definitely hope to come back soon!🌸」

「The Island Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay for our quick trip out of town! Our room was so clean and extremely well-maintained. It was really nice because it was away from all the in-season crowds but still close to the beaches and more touristy areas. The whole hotel has a lot of personality and really had We really, really liked it here and we definitely be back for a next trip to the Outer Banks!」
