"The room is comfortable, but most important thing was the hot breakfast in the morning. They had scrambled eggs, sausage along with fried potatoes and they had shredded cheese to put on it along with hot gravy. he also had hot oatmeal ready to go along with cold cereal. As far as the drinks to go along with things, they had milk, chocolate milk for different types of juices and hot coffee."

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was on the second floor, overlooking the river. The room was fairly small, but we were able to bring in one of the deck chairs and move the desk so we could play Scrabble. Breakfast was good enough. A very pleasant locally-owned and operated motel, with the river view a big plus for us."

"Entering the hotel it seemed as though it was beautiful and had a great history. We were excited to stay at the property. After some odd side conversations in the lobby about a fire due to someone smoking in their room, we were greeted by the front desk staff. They were quick to get us settled and kind during the process. The room looked great upon entry, but it became evident that it was not thoroughly cleaned. There were weird powder-like foot prints next to bed, hair in the shower, a dirty microwave and debris in the main sink. We were only there for one night, but I questioned the cleanliness enough to wear my shoes in the room and lay towels on the floor where I may step barefoot. "
