「This is a magnificent place to stay in New Orleans. I stayed here one for a wedding and since then I don’t look anywhere else for a room if the Frenchmen is available. There’s not much to the place except nice old rooms at a great location. The rooms can feel a bit bare and some fixtures are old but that’s part of the charm for us. Excellent pool and hot tub. Highly recommend. 」

「The hotel is an incredibly well preserved house from the 1830s well situated in the French Quarter within walking distance of many of the cities attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the suites and it did not feel like we were in a hotel at all. The suites do face the road, so be prepared for normal city noises, but the ambiance is well worth a little traffic. 」

「This hotel is all about location. walking distance to everything you want to experience about French Quarter.--- Fresh Market, Frenchmen Street (which I loved- music, dancing, great restaurants). Bourbon Street (not so much- unless you're one of the young, obnoxious drunks), I would say this hotel would be a gem if the rooms were updated. a little paint and caulk would go a long way. 「We booked a last minute weekend stay here after our original flight was cancelled. The staff was beyond friendly and the location was wonderful.. about 2 blocks from the French Market, close enough to the action but not so close that you were up all night. We got to watch a couple parades go by (wedding, protest, and a just because parade lol) the courtyard and pool area are very cute. The building itself is older, as are most buildings in the heart of the French Quarter so the rooms were on...
