"This is well-appointed modern hotel that is centrally located at the end of Laugavegur Street. It is right across from the fabulous Hlemmur Food Hall and Lucky Records, a Reykjavík institution for music fans. The rooms are comfortable and European chic. The breakfast buffet is delicious and a great way to fuel for a day of sightseeing. The spa is well-kept and a good way to unwind after a hard day of touring. This hotel is used by large tour groups and there are times of day when the lobby and restaurant are crowded and a bit chaotic. This did not detract from our stay and the rooms were quiet. Iceland has become very expensive since I was last here 4 years ago—and this hotel is no exception. Whatever you have budgeted for your Reykjavík stay—double it! Iceland makes Switzerland look like a bargain!"
"Clean, convenient and centrally located. There was nothing wrong with this place. We had a 1 bedroom for our family of 4 and it was perfect. Nothing missing. They have everything that a well equipped apartment would have. Best part for you coffee fans like me: plenty of coffee! There’s a push button machine in the reception lobby and an originaline nespresso machine in the room with endless pods. We are big coffee drinkers so it was great. Would stay here every time! Also close to excellent restaurants and shopping. "
"We loved our stay at this hotel. Staff was really responsive and catered to all our needs.
Family suite was spacious, clean and had all required amenities. "
"Parking can be challenge. It’s on a gravel lot that you need to walk to from the hotel. Room is not huge but clean and upgraded. Breakfast is good, an excellent variety of selections. This was the first and last hotel we stayed in Iceland, we will definitely come back again! "
