"Our room was very clean & comfortable. Just wish an Ocean View room could have been handicap assessible. Climbing stairs to the 2nd level was not easy due to back surgery. If I had known there was no elevator...I would have selected a different room... Breakfast was very good and lots of options. Great place to meet fellow travelers. "

"Mattress was so soft we rolled into the middle like an air mattress going flat but other than that it was a great stay. Loved the room, restaurant and location. Had a king room with a slider out to the pool area. Included a tiny private patio. Short walk down to the beach. Will definitely return. "

"The people who run this motel are some of the nicest folks we have had the pleasure of knowing. Great service, nice staff. We stayed 3 days my wife and i plus our friend, the manager upgraded us to a suite with 2 rooms. The breakfast was awesome, and warm cookies a nice bonus. Conveniently located to Hearst Castle, and Morrow bay. On the way out they gave us candy bars for the road. We will definitely stay here every time we visit the area. Loved it!!"
