However the staff are soo helpful and friendly and always seem cheery! The beer garden in the hot weather is a big plus plus it has a children's play area. 「So when I booked this room, it's was primarily for the air-conditioning as it was a heat wave and for medical reasons I needed a break from the heat. The staff were all really welcoming and friendly. They each chatted with me whenever I encountered them, and checked on me whenever I appeared at the lobby. At some point my air con conked out. But within 20 minutes of my approaching the subject with the receptionist I was put into a new room which was lovely. The rooms were spotless, even though...

「Had a 2 night stay at this property, very happy with our visit, couldn't really fault it to be fair, as we didn't really spend a lot of time there apart from our first night. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy, the staff were very helpful and cheerful, had breakfast on both mornings, opted for the classic breakfast, which was ample, the bar was well stocked and plenty staff serving. If I was to be picky, it is very minor points, I requested a twin room, but had a room for disabled...

「Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !」
