Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom was clean - bath had shower over it - could do with grab rail to help get in and out of bath. Room looks like it could do with a repaint and skirting board and window need a good clean! Window looked out over very wild piece of garden. No lift but there was a stair lift. Communal areas also look in need of TLC. No food in restaurant in evening but Deliveroo deliver to hotel. Breakfast ok- self service.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were so accommodating for whatever we asked for. Nice clean room, and a lovely comfy bed. Local to Kidderminster town centre, and also to Bewdley centre. an Ideal location for West Mids safari park too. All are within a 10 minute drive from hotel. I Would definitely stay there again if I’m ever in that area.

Highly disappointing. A very, very run down hotel. Room had a disinfectant smell, bedding minimal, carpet needs a good cleaning, and basic shower unit - a curtain around a plastic base - with a blocked drain that risked flooding. This is certainly nowhere close to the ‘Very Good’ 8/10 rating as presented by Expedia.

The hotel needs to be a little bit more welcoming. The outside could definitely needs a good clean. The bathroom could have had glasses in there. The floors needs a good scrub as the grout looks dirty around the floor tiles. The light in the bedroom keeps flickering. Odd size cups in the bedroom. The breakfast was poor, only beans and hard boiled eggs as a hot choice. Only full fat milk also.

WiFi wasn’t working for entire stay. Staff member told me it had been down and would be fixed in 2 hours but wasn’t. Room was freezing, heating didn’t work. Staff brought me an electric heater but this struggled to warm the room. Sheets were coarse and uncomfortable. Room was extremely noisy. Made 2 noise complaints about a neighbouring room. Staff came and spoke to them but noise did not stop. Walls were paper thin. Got very poor sleep, and did not feel I got value for my money. Staff were very pleasant though so they are a credit to the hotel.

So when I booked this room, it's was primarily for the air-conditioning as it was a heat wave and for medical reasons I needed a break from the heat. The staff were all really welcoming and friendly. They each chatted with me whenever I encountered them, and checked on me whenever I appeared at the lobby. At some point my air con conked out. But within 20 minutes of my approaching the subject with the receptionist I was put into a new room which was lovely. The rooms were spotless, even though they aren't the newest decor in the world, clean and cool was all I needed! Thank you for a pleasant stay👍

Staff were lovely & very helpful but the hotel itself is in very poor condition & quite dirty. Looking for a low cost Kidderminster hotel, and this was what I selected. The hotel wasn’t exactly what I was expecting - the name suggests a degree of elegance, but what I found was a downmarket version of a premier inn without the consistency. Relatively convenient for nearby attractions about halfway to Bewdley on the Bewdley road. A decent walk to the center of Kidderminster for most dining options.

Hotel was reasonably priced for a reason. Room was spacious and comfortable but a little tired. Nice quiet location though, so had a good night sleep.
