We arrived after 10pm the hotel were very helpful in leaving us a message on where to collect our room key from, the room was big and clean, bathroom was good too, we had an enjoyable breakfast too, very friendly & helpful staff.

Fabulous room, very modern with TV, tea, coffee and biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer - in fact everything you could possibly need. Bathroom was a 'wet room' with a super shower. Breakfast was enormous with plenty of tea or coffee. All the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to assist. Well worth staying here if visiting the area.

Loved the room. Large window opening on to a balcony over looking the 18th green. Water and Tea and coffee in the room. Large walk in shower. All lovely and modern. Bar was open until17.30 and there is a pub a 10 minute walk where you can grab an evening meal. Good breakfast, great room, great value, lovely staff. When in the area we will 100% consider staying.

The room was well made up and the beds were clean and good size. There were some lovely biscuits and tea bags in the room which were a real treat. The pull out bed was a good size but wouldn’t suit any child older than 10 or 11. The night check in was clear and straightforward.

Comfy bed, shower was lovely and the hairdryer brilliant(usually take my own as many are useless) Breakfast was tasty and staff were friendly. Only issue i had was getting in the night entrance it needed a powerful shove!

To be honest I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s a little out the way and there isn’t really anything nearby apart from a few pubs that you have to drive to. They stopped serving food at 5pm and I was there as a work trip staying away. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab. Very uncomfortable so I didn’t sleep well. The shower was nice and warm though and the room was very clean.

Pleasant

Lovely place. Check in was easy and taken straight to my room which was very clean and tidy. Couldn’t fault my stay other than air con was not working in the room (not sure if it was a fault or disabled) but it was an exceptionally hot day and night and the fan just wasn’t quite enough. Struggled with wifi in the room a little but my stay was peaceful and undisturbed.

I do not recommend this hotel. It used to be nice.. not anymore.. The customer service was poor and manager was cold and rude to us. And a lot of the facilities are broken. Disgusting the way we were treated on what was supposed to be a special occasion.

Beautiful location and view from our little balcony over the first Tee and 18th hole. Took my partner for his 50th and we had a lovely couple of days, the beers cold and the food was lovely. Had a round of golf which was challenging as very hilly and mostly blind holes. Great few hours out on the stunning course in sunshine though. Wharton has left the golf company group recently and has moved to new owners, both seemed lovely and have some exciting improvements in mind, the staff already seem impressed with the changes so far, would definitely visit again

Lovely hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing. We stayed on the hottest day in May and no air-conditioning was an issue. The staff came around with ice buckets added fans to the room and did everything they could to help. My sister is disabled and their care was outstanding. Breakfast sat outside with a view of the golf course was fantastic. Would we stay again most definitely maybe not in summer until they have air conditioning though.
