「Been to St Maarten a few times on a cruise but first time staying for a week..Simpson Bay Resort is a beautiful Resort has everything you would need.the buffet breakfast isn't worth the extra cost,you can easily walk 5 mins down the street to Buccaneer beach bar for breakfast so good and there are more places to eat breakfast close by.if you eat there the beach chairs and umbrella are free.take a tour around the island so you can see all the different beaches restaurants,shops...」

「The beach is stunning. The buildings are regal. You can see the water where ever you go. The islanders are very friendly nice people. Even the Airport is great, makes the US look silly. My wife and I have been on a lot of island trips but nothing was like this.」

「It was great overall. Enjoyed walking to Baie Rouge beach, dinners at Mezza Luna and Ma Ti Beach, with exceptional staff. Transport is a must if you want to explore more of the Dutch side.」

「Everything was great」

「We recently stayed at Sonesta and while the hotel itself is beautiful with amazing views and a great location, our experience was unfortunately very frustrating. Upon check-in, we specifically booked an ocean view room but were initially given Room 101, which had a parking lot/front entrance view instead. After having to make a fuss, we were finally moved to Room 311, which was much better. However, on days 2 and 3, the AC stopped working. On top of that, there was heavy construction going on...

「The place was extremely clean, safe and tranquil.. I honestly have no complaints. Nicco and his family were so welcoming and amazing throughout my stay. The breakfast pastries provided in the morning were absolutely delicious as well. Best sleep ever.💯 One of my favorite parts was that you literally walk out of your room straight onto the beach, which made the experience even more relaxing and beautiful. I will definitely be back! I loved the vibe of the whole area. You do hear the planes...

The older style, the beautiful landscape, the amazing view from the rooms, the room amenities, the spacious rooms, the very courteous staff (Anabelle was amazing; the security guard at night very nice) it was just an exquisite, stress free stay and will highly recommend it.」

「The place was perfect for the budget, the location and the amenities. The pool is great, there is a beach view that makes the entire place feel more relaxing. The breakfast options that are sold in the restaurant are honestly great. So happy to have booked here.」

「This property needs to be shut down and completely revamped. There was little to no water pressure in the showers. The following day absolutely no water. The towels felt like sandpaper. There was a solid wood panel under the sink that was not properly secured that fell on my feet whilst using the sink. They advertised hot tubs in the room and there was none. The AC did not get cold even when temperature turned all the way down. The breakfast was scrambled eggs with one piece of bacon,...

「I booked the room at the minute to extend my stay in St Maarten. The king size ocean view was beyond my expectations at a great price. Staff was able to check me in early. Staff at the oceanfront restaurant was very friendly. I’ll definitely book my entire stay there next time. Everything at the resort was spotless.」
