pool beautiful walking distance to Maho beach for plane spotting planes are very loud but don't generally fly at night or overnight walking distance to Casino Royale and great restaurants though walk can be hard at night as need to either walk on the beach or the road and it is dark

Pool is beautiful and the hotel location is great, theres room for improvement across the board in similar ways as my first stay here in 2021. Pool vibes are off, the music is dependent on the bartenders but only once did I hear anything Caribbean-esque, and it was Jimmy Buffet for an hour in the morning; the music is mostly vulgar and not family friendly at all. The pool bartenders are nice but the general outside staff doesn’t seem to know whats going on and are constantly looking for someone else to answer something (outside of the cleaning staff by the pool because they hustled); pool chairs became an issue and then “day pass” guests were getting blamed by staying guests because of a lack of policy implementation. The rooms are spacious and mostly well-designed but each day, something with the cleaning was wrong/off. Check-in was a breeze and most of the front desk and all of the front of house staff I interacted with were lovely. Some small changes could really elevate the entire experience but I will say the price point for this time of year was more than fair and in that sense, you get what you pay for.

The pool and the ocean views are amazing! The property was clean. The food was delicious at every meal. The drink prices were reasonable. The spa was wonderful! I liked the extra touches they did to make you feel a bit more spoiled down to the nice robes in the spa, nicely laid tables at every meal and Voss water. It was like paradise! We didn’t want to leave our paradise bubble!

Staff was amazing!!! I left my phone in my taxi one night and my girls at the restaurant found it within an hour. Everyone was so professional and polite. From the front desk, to the wait staff, to the housekeepers, the bartenders. Everyone makes you feel like you’re apart of the family. Great food & great drinks at Salt! 10/10 This property is walkable to Maho beach. (Go early before cruise ships come in) & within 10-15 minutes of everything to do on the Dutch side. The only issue I had was with the spa. I was booked for a spa service at 9AM on my last day. I overslept and missed my appointment. I went to the spa to see if I could reschedule and she said no because the girl was gone for the day & that it was nothing she could do. Okay fine. It was my fault — She then came back about 5 minutes later and offered to do the service for me. I informed her that I had to leave within the next hour to make the airport shuttle on time, but if she could still do it I would greatly appreciate it. She asked me to give her 20 minutes to set up. She came back 20 minutes later & escorted me to the spa. I’m not sure if she was still preparing the room, but I waited for an additional 40 minutes, in my robe. So I let her know I had to leave. I still had to pay for the full service. 🙃

The property is beautiful.. Our room was great and had a fantastic view of the infinity pool and sea. Important to note that the hotel is on the water but has no beach access. The front desk staff and doormen / bellhops were friendly. We had no hot water in our room on the first night and they immediately sent maintenance up to replace the heater. Water temperature was great thereafter. The food at SALT (the only onsite restaurant) was tasty (but pricey). Our one real con: The wait staff were not very customer focused - we always had to get someone’s attention in order to be seated (and often the person we asked would tell us to ask someone else although they appeared not to be busy) and, once seated, we almost always waited for a while before someone arrived to take our order. Once the order was in the service was pretty quick. All that said, we enjoyed our trip and would stay at The Morgan again.
